If your child needs glasses or is interested in trying contact lenses, we offer comprehensive advice and lots of support. We also provide specialist options for myopia (short-sightedness) control.
NHS Sight Tests
The NHS provides free sight tests for all children under 16 (and under 19 if in full time education). Lorna and Rich use child-friendly techniques to check children’s eye health and vision.
Myopia Management for Short-sightedness
Concerned about your child’s short-sightedness?
Until recently, treatment for short-sightedness (myopia) in children focused on correcting rather than preventing changes in vision. Our myopia management package offers both. By utilising specialist glasses we not only correct vision, but reduce elongation of the eye to slow down the progression of short-sightedness and the rate at which your child’s prescription changes.
We supply and fit myopia management glasses and contact lenses from market leaders Miyosmart, Stellest, Miocare and Misight, and use the latest MYHA technology to monitor and measure the effectiveness of the treatment
